I was excited to visit beautiful Boston again for another marathon, and looking forward to meeting the New England Deads at the encounters. A big "thank you" to Robin, Doug and Julia for organizing the highly enjoyable events on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks also to Connie for the tour of the Nike campaign in the T station. On marathon day, the thousands of runners in the athlete's village were enjoying the bright warm sunshine. After meeting up with Nangel, we walked around and chatted to Tom Laux, Tracey and Adrian. The high temperatures during the marathon made running up the hills hot work, but the crowds along the course seemed to be enjoying the sunny weather with kids and family. The race progressed through Framingham, Natick, Wellesley and Newton - many of the landmarks along the course now more familiar from my previous visits in November and December.
