Ordering Prints
(If you want to use images for publication please e-mail me. I get many requests for free image use. Remember, though, I work hard and do not wish to give images away. I will respond only to inquiries that include mention of proper payment.)
All images are printed using an Epson 4800 printer using k3 inks and archival paper similar to what the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Nash Editions, and other fine galleries use in their print processing. They will last 100 years without color shifting or fading. Images are printed on paper larger than the image to allow for matting and framing and are signed by the artist. All papers used are acid and lignin free and exhibit an expanded color gamut, maximum contrast and high ink load. I recommend having them framed using rag mat board and museum quality conservation glass.
Papers used are: 1. Epson UltraSmooth matte paper for fine art prints. It has a tiny surface texture and is favored for its subtle tone. Used my many museums. A review can be found here. This is the default paper I use. 2. Epson Premium Luster Paper has a photographic feel which some labs call E surface. Premium luster is known for its vibrant colors which really shine with the new k3 type of ultrachrome ink found in the 4800. Up till now, luster hasn't been associated with archival quality but this paper has changed that view. You must ask for this surface. The 11 x 15 inch UltraSmooth prints are also available placed in a matbaord. The print is placed in a cutout archival board with a solid backing board. The product easily drops in any standard sized 16 x 20 frame of your choice. I use conservation tape instead of dry mounting so the paper has room to breathe. If you want this option click here to send me a payment of $25. Besides fine art prints I offer 16 x 20 inch posters on the premium luster paper. They are 16x20 in total size. You select an image which I fit in the poster template. I select a background color suitable for the image. See examples of both a horizontal and vertical posters by clicking the button below.
Prints can be ordered either online through the galleries using PayPal; by downloading a order form, filling it in, and mailing it back to me with payment by check or money order. These orders are delayed till checks clear. You may also use the order form and pay with PayPal for quicker delivery.
