Pyramid
Pyramids were used for gods, pharaohs, or for the more rich people. Under the pyramids were tunnels that led to tombs, and the riches of the dead. Pyramids were mostly made out of sandstone, and large rocks. The Egyptians spent a long time working on them. Pyramids come in three different sizes. Most of the people who worked on the pyramids were slaves. Each stone weighes one to two tons, if not more. The three types of pyramids are flat pyramids, bent pyramids, and step pyramids. The flat pyramid is flat on all sides. It goes up just the same as the step pyramid. The bricks weigh the same, but it is just not able to be climbed up. Bent pyramids slant straight up, then tilt into a triangular shape. It is a lot like the flat pyramid, and step pyramids, but it is shaped differently. The bricks are shaped the same, and it also goes up the same. Step pyramids are made with layers from the bottom getting everytime it goes up higher. The pyramid is made from sandstone. Each of the stones weighs one to two tons.
