Toothpick Bridge Contest

Students built bridges in cooperative groups, following the strict rules as outlined in Building Toothpick Bridges, by Jeanne Pollard.

After the architect's designs were approved by the comapny director, building began. (left)

Groups spent several days using lumber and cement while keeping balanced accounting books. (right)     Below is the design which best followed the architect's plans and was asthetically pleasing.
